This 4-hour Table Thai class covers the fundamentals needed to safely, easily, and effectively incorporate supine Thai massage techniques into your existing table practice.
Thai massage largely utilizes passive range of motion and rhythmic compressions to create satisfying contact that clients love, increasing range of motion and promoting comforting relaxation. This class will have a strong emphasis on proper body mechanics and utilizing the leverage from the client's body to make the work feel almost “too easy" at times.
In this class, you'll learn how to incorporate the "easy work" of Thai using body leverage, passive range of motion, and compressions to both make your sessions easier for you to do and create a uniquely relaxing experience for your clients. You will also come out of class with the ability to integrate these techniques into your table practice. Even well-seasoned practitioners will learn creative new ways to add movement into their sessions in this playfully presented class.
Mask policy: Surgical masks are optional.
